An island wide distributed network of FloWater refill stations combined with our EcoMap Maui sustainability app provides the infrastructure that can be rapidly developed and installed to cultivate the cultural and societal shift to eliminate the usage of single use plastic water bottles. Each of these locations can also be utilized as an informational resource center to better educate individuals on the plastic epidemic, and provide real alternatives and solutions.
We have in development to roll out this year a fully comprehensive sustainability map that in essence is the sustainability directory, any and every individual with access to this information is enabled to easily be sustainable with Maui. This technological hub can serve as a centralized easily accessed resource containing instructions and information for directing the individual to attainable alternatives that reduce waste creation, increase recycling rates, promote local businesses, promote shared and/or EV transportation, and create jobs.
