Maui County passed Bill 52, restricting the Use of Single-Use Plastic Foodware becomes effective January 1, 2022. Although we have become accustomed to this convenience, the sheer pollution it has created would have plagued future generations for years to come. Thanks to the hard work of many Aloha ‘Aina groups and numerous school children, that catastrophe has been thwarted! Mahalo to everyone seeking a better environment and future.
